At Acute Electrical, we specialise in safe, reliable electrical installations for pool and spa plant rooms across London and the South East. Whether you’re installing a brand new control panel or upgrading older wiring to meet modern standards, our NICEIC-certified team ensures every detail meets BS 7671 regulations.

Below you’ll find examples of our recent work, including full rewires, remedial repairs, and compliance upgrades for residential and commercial pools. Every system we install is built with longevity, safety, and a professional finish in mind.

Installation in Plant room in Central London

We carried out a new installation of a recently added basement plant room on a Victorian house. Works were carried out in co-ordination with the construction firm and the pool company we were contracted to. This included installing new containment, upgrading the earthing and bonding, and ensuring a neat, serviceable finish. As a result, the client now has a fully compliant, easily maintainable system ready for inspection and handover. All our works come with a six year insurance backed warranty.

Outdoor Pool Plant Room Rewire – Greater London

This project involved a complete reconfiguration of the plant room, including the distribution board, isolators, and control gear. We used stainless steel trunking to improve both durability and visual appeal. Furthermore, all wiring was fully tested and certified to BS 7671, with results provided in the client’s EICR pack.

Safety Improvements – Outdoor Pool Plant Room

On this job, we upgraded an older system to current safety standards. We strip out all existing cabling and isolators, and rewire to current or replacement plant equipment. To ensure a thorough record, all changes were documented and an installation certificate is added to the client’s compliance file.
